CCCI leaders exchange views with Chinese trade team

A five-member delegation from China's Yunnan province met leaders of the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the World Trade Center, Chattogramon Sunday.  

Chamber Vice President Syed Mohammad Tanveer presided over the meeting.  China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) President Liu Qilin, Director of Trade and Investment Promotion Department Zhou Tengjiao, Chamber Director AnjanShekhar Das, Meridian, Kiswan and Lub-Ref representatives spoke at the meeting.  

Chamber directors MdAheedSiraj Chowdhury (Swapan), Zahirul Islam Chowdhury (Alamgir), Nazmul Karim Chowdhury Sharun, MdIftekhar Faisal, SM TahsinJonaid, Mohammad Adnanul Islam, TanveerMostafa Chowdhury and Mohammad NasirulAlam (Fahim) and various investors and businessmen were present. Chamber Vice-President Syed Mohammad Tanveer said that Bangladesh's GDP growth has been more than 6% for the past decade.  Significant infrastructure development has taken place to build a smart and developed Bangladesh by 2041.

Liu Qilin, President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), said that the Yunnan trade delegation has come to promote trade relations between China and Bangladesh. He mentioned about the Chinese investment potential in fabrics, flowers, restaurants, health care sector in Bangladesh.
