The 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Central Counterparty Bangladesh Limited (CCBL) was held on Sunday at its office. The meeting recommended 5% cash dividend for the FY 2022-23.
Major General Md Wahid-Uz Zaman, SBP, BSP(BAR), ndc, aowc, psc, te (Retired), Chairman of the Board presided over the meeting. Director, AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul recited from the Holy Quran and thereafter the Chairman delivered an introductory speech.
In the meeting, among others, Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 2022-2023, 5% cash dividend as recommended by the Board and appointment of auditor along with their remuneration for the next financial yearwere approved unanimously.
In compliance with the relevant provisions of the Companies Act, the shareholders also approved change of name of the Company to “Central Counterparty Bangladesh PLC.”.
The Board members of CCBL and representative of shareholders attended the meeting.
