On the first day of the school year, the government gave the students new books.
These books have been written, printed, and distributed by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB). NCTB has asked that they be notified via email if there are any errors in the books that are being given to the students.
In addition, anyone is welcome to correct the book in person at the NCTB office. The NCTB chairman, Professor Md. Farhadul Islam, signed the notification containing this request on Monday night.
The notification states that on January 1, celebrations nationwide were held for a textbook festival. Students in Pre-Primary through Class IX now have new textbooks.
This time, the textbooks assigned to the first, second, third, sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth classes follow the new curriculum, while the textbooks for the fourth and fifth classes follow the curriculum from 2012. All concerned and stakeholders are kindly requested to
forward any errors or mistakes found in these textbooks, as well as any suggestions for bettering their quality, to the NCTB Chairman's office address or the following email address. Any feedback will be carefully reviewed and appropriate action will be taken.
Corrections to errors in the new book should be sent to this email: chairman@nctb.gov.bd. Aside from this, Textbook Bhaban, 69-70, Motijheel B/A, Dhaka-1000 is the address of the chairman's office.
