BNP-Jamaat caders allegedly torched three passenger buses in three different areas of the capital Dhaka.

According to the police sources,  three buses were set on fire by blockade supports in the capital's New Market,  Elephant Road and Jatrabari ara on Saturday evening.

Abdus Samad Azad, wireless operator of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters said, a bus was torched on Elephant Road at 7:30pm. He said another passenger bus was torched  in New Market area.

Police officials alleged that BNP-Jamaat terrors also set fire on a passenger bus at Jatrabari of the capital Dhaka.  Police teams have already been dispatched to the scenes police sources said.

At least 41 incidents of arson have been reported across Bangladesh during the three-day blockade that ended Thursday evening.

A total of 82 incidents of arson were reported from October 28 to November 2 across the country.

The right wing  BNP and its  extreme radical ally Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami enforced the road, rail and waterway blockade from 6:00 am on October 31 to demand the resignation of prime Minister Sheikh Hasin and hand over power to a caretaker government, which is totally unconstitutional .
