Bangladesh Export Import Company (BEXIMCO Limited), another company listed in the capital market, has decided to sit on the board of directors of Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC).
A designated representative of BEXIMCO will serve as a director on the BSC, assuming a significant number of shares.
The decision to join the board of BSC was made in the meeting of the board of directors of Beximco held on Sunday.
According to company sources, BEXIMCO Limited has so far bought 80 lakh 8 thousand 90 shares of BSC, which is 5.25 percent of the total issued shares of the company.
