The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has honoured BAT Bangladesh with the ICMAB Best Corporate Award 2021 (Gold) under MNC Manufacturing Category. BAT Bangladesh has won this award for six consecutive years since 2016.
BAT Bangladesh has received this prestigious award at a ceremony held at InterContinental Dhaka, in the capital on Thursday, says a press release.
Minister of Commerce Tipu Munshi was present as the chief guest at the ceremony. The award was received by Chairperson of BAT Bangladesh Golam Mainuddin and Managing Director Shehzad Munim.
Commerce Ministry Senior Secretary TapanKanti Ghosh was also present during the handover of the award.
Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) Chairman Professor Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam and FBCCI President Md Jashim Uddin were also present as special guests.
The ICMAB National Award is given every year to recognise the invaluable contribution made by the corporate entities to different sectors of the national economy and to encourage increased competitiveness for efficiency.
Along with the government officials, many entrepreneurs, businesspersons and top executives of different companies were also present at the ceremony.
