BASIS gets ISO Certificate from BSTI

Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), the national trade body of the software and IT-enabled service industry in Bangladesh, has received the ISO 9001:2015 certificate from the Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) on Wednesday.

The certificate was handed over in a ceremony at the conference room of the Ministry of Industries in Dhaka. 

On behalf BASIS, Abu Daud Khan, Vice President (Admin) of BASIS, received the certificate from Industries Minister NurulMajid Mahmud Humayun while State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder and Zakia Sultana, Secretary of the Ministry of Industries were present as Special Guests.

The certification was awarded to BASIS in recognition of its commitment to maintaining high standards of quality management systems and assisting members of BASIS in expanding their businesses at home and abroad and their capacity building through achieving business excellence, quality improvement, networking and facilitating availability of necessary information.    

Abu Daud Khan, Vice President (Admin) of BASIS, expressed his delight on receiving the certification, stating that it is a testament to the organization's commitment to ensuring the highest level of quality in all aspects of its management and operations.
