Bangladesh wants to send more medics to Kuwait

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md. Shahriar Alam on Tuesday said that Kuwait can recruit more medical professionals including nurse, medical technicians from Bangladesh.

He showed the government's interest in this regard when outgoing Ambassador of Kuwait Adel Mohammed A H Hayat paid a courtesy call on him. The Ambassador thanked the State Minister for his support during his tenure in Bangladesh.

He mentioned that the government of Bangladesh has made “tremendous development” under the leadership of Prime minister Sheikh Hasina.

The State Minister appreciated the Ambassador for his sincere efforts for strengthening bilateral cooperation between Bangladesh and Kuwait in manpower, trade, defense, energy and development projects. The Kuwait Ambassador highlighted that Bangladesh and Kuwait enjoy excellent relations in bilateral and multilateral forums.

He expressed that in the coming days the relationship will be strengthened for mutual benefit of Bangladesh and Kuwait, said the foreign ministry.
