Lion Moshiur Ahmmed and Salauddin Kutu have been elected President and General Secretary of the Bangladesh-Nepal Friendship Society for the period of 2023—2025 uncontested, said a press release. The bi-ennial meeting of the international non-profit and social organization was held at the Shishu Kalyan Parishad auditorium in the city on Friday.
The other members of the committee are Sheli Sengupta-vice-president; Md Lutfir Rahman-Joint General Secretary; Khan Mohammad Jahangir Alam–treasurer and Mohamamd Moshiur Rahman, Md Aminur Rahman, Fahmida Beauty, Mahmud Khan Bizu and Dr Hafiza Akhter as executive committee members. Moshiur Ahmmed is also a member, Industry & Commerce Affairs Sub-Committee at Bangladesh Awami League, life member of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) and Managing Director of Penguin Ice & Fish Processing Private Ltd.
Golam Mostafa conducted the election.
