He said, “We may strategize bilateral value chain initiatives (BVCI) utilizing France’s technology and knowledge transfer through joint ventures and Bangladesh’s production competitive edge, maximizing our domestic, regional and global market access opportunities.
Sheikh Fazle Fahim said this at a webinar on ‘France-Bangladesh trade, commerce, and investment: Prospect, Potential and Challenges’ jointly organized by MEDEF International, France and Bangladesh Embassy in Paris on Wednesday.
Chairman of the France- Bangladesh Business Council Pierre-Jean Malgouyers, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, Commerce Secretary Dr. Md. Jafar Uddin, Ambassador of Bangladesh to France KaziImtiaz Hossain, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Executive Member Mohsina Yasmin also attended in the webinar.
The FBCCI President said Joint R&D, Energy, multi-modal transport, machinery and transport equipment, Plastics, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Iron and Steel, CMSMEs, startup ecosystem, construction, shipbuilding, high value textile, durable consumer goods, light engineering, automobile and motorbike components, software, hardware, cyber security equipments, Service cooperation in logistics, Hospitality etc. are some of the highly prospective areas for joint ventures.
