The final-round competition and prize-giving ceremony of the Bangabandhu Cup Golf Open 2022, one of the Asian Tour’s emerging tournaments, will be held today at the Kurmitola Golf Club in Dhaka.
On Saturday, the third day of the international golf event, Thai golfer Kosuke Hamamoto secured the first place by playing 11 shots less than par while his compatriot Danthai Boonma grabbed the second position by playing 10 shots less than par. under the joint management of Bangladesh Golf Federation and National Bank Ltd where Minister of State for Youth and Sports Md Zahid Ahsan Russel will be present as the chief guest.
The Asian Tour’s biggest golf tournament started in Bangladesh in 2015. This year’s is the sixth edition of the tournament. The tournament is being held under the overall supervision of the Bangladesh Golf Federation and under the patronage of National Bank Ltd for the second time.
Apart from host Bangladesh, 120 professional golfers from 23 countries are participating in the tournament.
