In a major milestone for the country’s digital infrastructure, Axentec PLC has officially launched Axentec Cloud, Bangladesh’s first Tier-4 cloud platform fully hosted and operated within the country. The platform is a flagship offering from Axentec PLC, an affiliate of Robi Axiata PLC.
The announcement was made at a press event held today at Axentec’s corporate headquarters in Dhaka, attended by senior journalists and technology editors. The event highlighted the cloud platform’s technical architecture, capabilities, and its strategic importance to the nation’s digital future.
According to the company, Axentec Cloud is the first enterprise-grade cloud platform in Bangladesh to meet Tier-4 standards for reliability, security, and scalability. It is fully managed locally, with a
Tier-4 data center located in Jashore and an additional hosting facility in Bhulta.

This platform allows organizations to innovate without compromising on compliance or security. ”
Adil Hossain Noble, Managing Director and CEO of Axentec PLC, said, “For years, enterprises in Bangladesh have relied on foreign-hosted cloud platforms, which often raised concerns over data sovereignty, performance, compliance, and cost. Axentec Cloud directly addresses these challenges. It is local, robust, and designed to support the country’s economic growth over the next decade.”
