Leaders of Awami League and BNP have been continuing their political activities at Chuadanga-1 constituency under their respective banners to implement their agendas in the next parliamentary election.
Leaders of Awami League have been trying to keep their position for winning whereas BNP leaders are taking out different programmes for establishing and fulfilling their 10 point demands including forming a caretaker government before elections, sources added.
About 4 leaders of Awami League are working at the field level of Chuadanga-1 constituency to set up different programs for the next parliamentary election. The leaders are- Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun, MP, freedom fighter and veteran Awami League leader , Dilip Kumar Agarwala, CIP and a leader of Awami League, MA Razzak Khan Raj, industrialist and a leader of Awami League, and Ashadul Hoque Biswas, sadar upazila chairman and a leader of Awami League.
On the other hand, Sharif Uzzaman Sharif, member secretary of District BNP and other leaders, have been chalking out different programs for establishing its 10 point demands including forming a caretaker government for conducting the next election.
Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun, MP, and his followers are holding discussion meetings and other programs for strengthening the party’s activities with leaders of villages, wards, unions, upazilas committees and common people. District level Awami League leaders Reajul Islam Joarder Toton, Munsi Almgir Hannan, Adv. Shamsuzzoha, Nasiruddin Ahmmed, Adv. Abu Taleb, Adv. Belal Hossain and Adv. Khokon have been narrating development of the areas at various programs, which are completed by the Awami League government and Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun, freedom fighter and incumbent Member of Parliament.
Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun was elected as Member of Parliament in 2008, 2014 and 2018 from Chuadanga-1 constituency. He is a well known political leader of Awami League in the constituency as well as this district.
Ashadul Hoque Biswas has been elected upazila chairman of Sadar upazila for three terms to get the nomination of Awami League. He is now Sadar Upazila Chairman and a leader of Awami League. He is working as a candidate for the next parliamentary election.
Dilip Kumar Agarwala, who is a leader of Awami League, is managing director of Diamond World and a CIP. He is contributing in the areas giving stipend to the talented students and distributing cows for rearing to the distressed people and so on.
MA Razzak Khan Raj, proprietor of Minister Electronics Limited and a member of the finance and planning sub-committee of Central Awami League has been arranging free treatment at his home for poor people. Besides, he also gave ifter to the inmates of hospitals free of cost.
Sharif Uzzaman Sharif, Member Secretary of District BNP along with leaders and activists of all levels in the areas have been holding meetings and other programs for establishing the central committee’s 10 point demand including caretaker government. If the situation is in favor, Sharif Uzzaman Sharif may be a candidate of BNP in the next parliament election, it is learnt.
