Chef AphithakWithojit, widely known as Chef Mac, has joined the Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel as the new Executive Chef.
With over 40 years of culinary adventure, Chef Mac has cooked his way across the globe—from high-end resorts in Thailand to luxury hotels in the Middle East.
Most recently leading the kitchens at W Doha Hotel, his illustrious journey includes key roles at Anantara Hotels, Burj Dubai, and working alongside Michelin-starred Chef Nobu at the world-renowned Nobu restaurants.
He also served as the Executive Chef and Brand Ambassador of Spice Market by Chef Jean-Georges, a concept by the three-Michelin-starred chef, during his time in Doha.
Chef Mac was appointed for exclusive, confidential hospitality assignments for the Royal Family in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and later in South Africa, where he collaborated with other Michelin-starred chefs.
