Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited has sponsored Tk.5.00 (five) lac to Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) for constructing a new motorcylce stand at the DRU premises.
Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Farman R. Chowdhury handed over a cheque of the said amount to the President of DRU Rafiqul Islam Azad and former President Ilias Hossain on Sunday , in an event arranged at Head Office of the Bank.
Deputy Managing Directors Md. Fazlul Karim, S. M. Jaffar, Mohammed Zubair Wafa, Shabbir Ahmed, Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Senior Executive Vice President Kazi Mahmud Karim, Executive Vice President Engr. Md. Habib Ullah, Senior Executive Vice President Jalal ahmed and other Bank Officials were present at the ceremony.
Acting General Secretary of DRU Helimul Alam Biplob, Organizing Secretary Habibur Rahman, Publicity & Publication Secretary Maidur Rahman Rubel and EC Member Secretary S. M. Mizan were also present on behalf of their organization.
