Afsana Rahman has been elected as the new President of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka Founders for the year 2026. The election took place during the chapter's Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the BRAC Centre Inn on November 29, where members unanimously voted for the new leadership.
Alongside the President, the newly elected executive committee includes Rifatul Haq, Saiful Rahman, and Md. Nafiul Hasan as Vice Presidents. Amjad Shuvo has been elected as the Local Secretary General, while Masud Parvez Raju will serve as the Local Treasurer.
The 2026 committee also includes several directors and local committee chairs who will oversee the upcoming year's projects, training programs, and member engagement activities.
The AGM was graced by the presence of JCI Bangladesh’s 2025 National President Kazi Fahad, along with members of the National Board and Local Presidents from various other Dhaka chapters.
Expressing her gratitude, newly elected President Afsana Rahman said, "The achievements of our previous president are a source of pride for us. In 2026, we will focus specifically on further empowering members, fostering leadership, and implementing meaningful projects for the community."
JCI Dhaka Founders is a prominent local chapter of the global non-profit organization for young leaders aged 18 to 40. The chapter has been actively working on leadership development, social service, and creating responsible citizens in Bangladesh.
