Two persons, including a student of Chattogram University (CU), were arrested for giving proxy in the recruitment examination for the post of office assistant of the revenue branch of Chattogram district administration.
The detainees were identified as Jalal Uddin, 24, a student of Anthropology Department of CU and Abdul Quader Rimon, 25, another student and an active member of the proxy gang.
District administration magistrate Ashraful Alam detained them during the recruitment test at Municipal Model School and College centre on Friday morning.
Later, they were handed over to the Chattogram Metropolitan Police.
