Premier School Dhaka has celebrated another strong performance at the 25th The Daily Star–Prime Bank O & A Level Awards 2026, with 10 of its students receiving recognition for their outstanding academic performance. Recently held in Dhaka under the theme “Saluting the Nation Builders of Tomorrow,” the prestigious awards ceremony recognized and celebrated the achievements of 2,545 students from 121 English-medium schools across Bangladesh. Of the awardees, 1,928 students were recognized for their O Level results and 617 for their A Level achievements.
Premier School Dhaka’s Chief Principal, Ruksana Jannat Snikdha, said the recognition was not new for the school, as its students have been receiving The Daily Star awards almost every year. “However, the number of awardees was higher this year. We hope many more of our students will be eligible for the award in the future,” she said.
According to the school, 10 students were recognized this year. However, not all of them could attend the award ceremony as some are currently studying abroad. Two of the students are pursuing their higher studies in Malaysia.
The Chief Principal said the school's student-centered approach has played an important role in helping students achieve strong results. “We are very student-friendly and prepare customized plans for each student. As they approach their final examinations, we assess each student's individual needs and develop a targeted plan accordingly,” she said.
The school also arranges special classes and provides online classes during vacations to support students in their preparation. “We offer special classes and online classes during vacation periods. We make different arrangements based on the needs of individual students so that they can prepare better for their final examinations,” she added.
The success of Premier School Dhaka's students at the awards reflects the school's continued focus on personalized academic support and examination preparation.
