While information about Deadpool 3's development and casting remains elusive, fans can rest assured that Zazie Beetz would be on board to play Domino. Beetz first took on the character in ‘Deadpool 2’, and Domino is a member of the mutant X-Force Wade Wilson assembles to protect a young orphan mutant. Domino's power is that she's "lucky," a quality that Wade initially doubts the super-powered nature of. However, it soon becomes clear that her uncanny luck extends to high-stakes, life-threatening situations.

Ryan Reynolds confirmed back in 2019 that ‘Deadpool 3’ was on the way from Marvel Studios, but few details about the film's production or plot have been made available. The lack of spoilers is partly due to Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox, which brought the ‘Deadpool’ series under Disney's umbrella. Whereas Fox and Marvel Entertainment produced the first two movies, Marvel Studios are developing the third, which now operates separately from Marvel Entertainment under Kevin Feige.

Unlike the first two films, ‘Deadpool 3’ will be integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is known for keeping the details of its movies tightly under wraps until promotion.

Although the script is not yet finished, co-writers Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin (Bob's Burgers, The Great North) have the go-ahead from Beetz to bring back her character, according to Comicbook.com. In their interview, Beetz is enthusiastic about the possibility of reprising her character. Apparently, Beetz enjoyed playing Domino so much that she would happily sign on for a never-ending franchise, plus spinoffs:

"I would love to revisit Domino. I would love to do a ‘Deadpool 3, 4, 5, 7, 19’. I have also wanted to be like, 'Maybe I could just do my own origin story.' I feel honored to have been able to depict her on screen and to play with her, as her. I love her and so I would be more than happy to revisit her on camera. Moreover, I think I will. If Disney doesn't make it happen, I'll make it happen."    -News Rush
