For more than two decades, popular actor Zahid Hasan and model-dancer Sadia Islam Mou have been together. Yet, their absence from public events as a couple has often sparked speculation about their relationship. Addressing these rumours recently, Zahid Hasan spoke openly about his personal life.
In a conversation on the podcast Behind The Fame with RRK, Zahid dismissed the gossip. “We are doing well. Some people love to assume otherwise. They spread things just to talk,” he said. He shared that Mou not only takes care of him but also cooks meals herself. With emotion, he added, “She looks after me like a mother would. Our egos never clash, because her heart is kinder than mine.”
Explaining why they are rarely seen together at industry events, Zahid admitted that his long shooting schedules often keep him away. “It’s true—we hardly go anywhere together. Many times, I can’t attend even family functions. On the day of my own brother’s wedding, I had a show in Barishal and couldn’t make it,” he recalled. He added that Mou often attends programs alone, while he only joins if she is away.
The actor also revealed that Mou is aware of his past relationship with another actress. He still preserves old letters from that time. “Mou often teases me about it,” he said with a smile, sharing how she once told him to keep those letters safely. Zahid, however, clarified that he no longer shares any connection with his former co-star and avoids speaking about her out of respect.
Highlighting his present life, Zahid Hasan made it clear that despite rumours, his marriage with Sadia Islam Mou remains strong, with mutual care, understanding, and humor guiding their journey.
