A young man was hacked to death by unknown criminals at Sheharchar area on Sunday night under Fatulla police station in Narayanganj district.
Police recovered the dead body and said that the deceased was aged around 25 years old and bore several sharp weapon cutting symptoms but the identity was not yet established.
A security guard of the coast east readymade garments factory Foyzul Haq said that he heard screaming of a man outside the factory on the road at around 11 pm night and then he informed the factory owner.
Examining the mark of injuries, police suspect that the deceased came under attack by the snatcher and was stabbed with sharp weapons.
Officer-in-Charge of the Fatulla model police station Rezaul Haq said that the clue behind killing and deceased identity would be clear very soon.
The body was sent to Narayanganj General Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
