The current government has given special importance to the sports and cultural practices of children and teenagers.
Because this is the time for the development of their body and mind. The Minister of State for Culture said that the young generation is currently addicted to social media. He urged the young generation to free themselves from this addiction and concentrate on sports and cultural activities.
The State Minister said this while addressing the chief guest at the closing and prize distribution ceremony of the '49th Summer National Sports Competition 2022' organized by the Bangladesh National School, Madrasa and Technical Education Sports Association and managed by the Mymensingh Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education at Bhasha Sainik Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh on Monday morning. .
The chief guest said that participation in any competition including sports is the main thing, not winning or losing. The State Minister greeted and congratulated all the contestants including the winners and losers.

It should be noted that the 49th Summer National Sports Competition-2022 was inaugurated by the Minister of Education Dr. Deepumani MP. National level games are held in Dhaka, Comilla, Chittagong, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Dinajpur, Jessore, Barisal, Mymensingh, Madrasa and 09 regional offices of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education under the technical board at the convenience of the board.
Like every year, this year too, the whole country is divided into four regions namely: Padma (Dhaka, Mymensingh), Bakul (Chittagong, Sylhet, Comilla), Champa (Rajshahi, Rangpur) and Rose (Khulna, Barisal).
