A youth’s body was recovered from Joynagar village under Kalia upazila in Narail district on Thursday morning.
The deceasad was identified as Akkel Mollah, 35, son of Alem Mollah of Chartola village in Gopalganj sadar upazila.
Alomgir Kabir, Officer-in-charge (OC) of Naragati Police Station said, on information police recovered Akkel Mollah’s body from a orchard in the village at 9am on Thursday. He (Akkel) might have killed over illicit love issue.
Police detained accused Marufa Begum, 30, wife of Mahbub Sheikh of Joynagar village to investigate the matter, the OC added.
The body was sent to Gopalganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
A case was filed with Naragati police station in this connection.
