Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained a youth with a foreign revolver and bullets in Pubna on Thursday night. The arrestee was identified as Istiak Mahmud Mission, son of Ilias Ali of Nikaripara, Shalgaria in the town.
Assistant Police Super Aminul Kabir, acting company commander of RAB-12, confirmed the matter. He said that based on secret information, the RAB members conducted a drive at Lawdara Dipchar area and arrested Istiak Mission with a revolver and a round bullet. A case was filed with Pabna police station in this connection.
