A young man identified as Shafinur Rahman (30), was killed by his opponent in Nobinagar Upazila on Tuesday night.
The incident took place at Baghhaura village in Shib Union. He was the son of Hafez Miah of the village. He was stabbed to death by local youths Faizur Rahman and his brother Abdur Rahman.
Few days back, there was a quarrel between Abdur Rahman and Shafinur’s brother Rubel.
Villagers took the wounded Shafinur to Upazila Health Complex where the doctor on duty pronounced him dead.
Mahbub Alam, OC, Nabinagar Thana said that, a young man was stabbed to death and the body was sent to Brahmanbaria General Hospital for autopsy.
Two persons were arrested in this connection.
