Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a young man for spreading rumour over coronavirus through Facebook from Mujguni in Khalishpur upazila here on Thursday night.
The arrestee is identified as Meraj Ali, 30, son of Abdul Mannan of the area. Acting on tip off, a team of Rab-6 conducted a drive in the area and arrested Meraj Ali at night, said a press release of Rab-6. Later, he was handed over to Khalishpur Police Station.
