World AIDS Day observed in Natore

The World Aids Day was observed in Natore on Friday with the aim of preventing the spread of AIDS through creating awareness.

This year's theme of the day "Let communities lead". 

The day is being observed since 1988 to create mass awareness against Aids across the world. According to the UN declaration, the involvement of people from all walks of life is very important to eradicate AIDS by 2030.

After the rally, a discussion was held at the conference Room of the Civil Surgeon Office.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Muhammad Moshiur Rahman presided over the function.

The keynote speech was presented by Surveillance Medical Officer Dr. ASM Sadekul Haque.

Among others, Medical Officer Dr. Md Russell, Natore Press Club President Faraji Ahmad Rafiq Baban, its General Secretary Nazmul Hasan also spoke.
