Orientation workshop with journalists at district level was held to celebrate National Vitamin “A” Plus Campaign 2023 at Rajbari.
On this occasion, an orientation workshop was held with 40 journalists at the district level in the conference room of the Rajbari Civil Surgeon's office at 12 o'clock on Thursday.
Vitamin 'A' plus will be fed to the children of 5 upazilas, 3 municipalities and 42 unions of the district on February 20 in Rajbari.
In the orientation workshop, Dr Abdul Ghafar presented various information on the need to feed vitamin A to children through a multimedia projector.
On the occasion of the National Vitamin 'A' Plus Campaign, an initiative has been taken to feed Vitamin 'A Plus Capsules' to children.
16 thousand 581 children aged 6 to 11 months and 121 thousand 121 children aged 12 months to 59 months. The total number of children is 1 lakh 37 thousand 702.
Highlighting the importance of vitamin 'A', the speakers said, all children aged 6-11 months will be given a blue colored vitamin 'A' capsule and all children aged 12-59 months will be given a red colored vitamin 'A' capsule. Children should not be deprived of vitamin A.
