Workshop on ‘OBE Curriculum Preparation’ held at IU

A day-long Workshop titled ‘Outcome Based Education (OBE) Curriculum Preparation for Theology and Islamic studies faculty’ was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Saturday.

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the university organized the workshop in the seminar room of IU central library around 10:30 am.

IU vice-chancellor Professor Dr Shaikh Abdus Salam inaugurated the program as the chief guest while Pro-VC Professor Dr M Mahbubur Rahman and treasurer Professor Dr Alamgir Hossain Bhuiya were present as the special guests.

IQAC acting director Professor Dr Mohabbat Hossain presided over the program while Dr Nizam Uddin, professor of the Arabic department of Rajshahi University attended here as the resource person. IU theology faculty dean, Professor Dr Ershad Ullah and more than fifty teachers of the faculty took part here.

The speakers, in their speech, focused on the preparation of a modern curriculum and quality education system for creating students more capable and adaptable to the competitive world.
