A workshop on Covid-19 health protection was held with the members of local press club in Kishoreganj upazila of Nilphamari on Tuesday morning. Members of the local press club gave ideas on Covid-19 health protection, misconceptions, sexual and gender based violence, and accurate report writing on gender equality.
The workshop was held in the Press Club hall room under the chairmanship of Press Club Convener Abu Hassan Sheikh. Jewel Ahmed, Uttara Region Correspondent of Banglavision Television was the chief guest while Lion Md. Azaharul Islam, Assistant Professor of Begum Rokeya College attended as the distinguished guest.
Nazrul Islam, Technical Coordinator of Lamb Show programme gave welcome speech. At the time, Plan International Bangladesh's Rangpur Health Specialist Mahfuzar Rahman, Joint Convener of Press Club KM Shakir, Ittefaq Correspondent Shamim Hossain Babu and others spoke among others.
