Workshop on child journalism held in Bandarban

Bandarban Superintendent of Police Jerin Akhter inaugurated a two-day training on child journalism in Bandarban town. She said that today's children are the future of tomorrow. 

Besides reading and writing, children should read a lot of story books, play sports and write. 

The country has made progress in all areas including education, politics, administration, journalism, but it is not enough to go further. She further said that out of 64 districts, only 5 districts have women police superintendents and Bandarban district is also lagging behind so women have to go everywhere with more education and initiation. Journalists highlight the problems and possibilities of different areas of the country, journalists are the mirror of society.

SP Jerin Akhter said that Journalists play an important role in keeping human civilization alive. 

As part of the nationwide training on children's journalism, a two-day training on children's journalism has been organized in Bandarban district for the second time on 23-24 December 2021, said Afrin Mim, resource person of multimedia bdnews24.com. 2012-15 year old students from different educational institutions of Bandarban district participated in the training, out of which two disabled students Mosammat Afroza 10th class and Salama Akter 8th class participated in the training.

Hello bdnews24.com and UNICEF jointly inaugurated the two-day training course on child journalism. The training workshop was attended by  officials and journalists in  the district.
