An alternative income-generating training workshop was held for registered fishermen under the Fisheries Development Project in Greater Cumilla district of Nabinagar, Brahmanbaria on Saturday.
The training workshop was inaugurated by private secretary of fisheries and livestock ministry Azizul Islam.
Senior fisheries officer Abu Masud presided over the meeting while Upazila Assistant Commissioner (land) Iqbal Hasan, President of Nabinagar Press Club Mahabub Alom Liton, Begum Azizul Islam, Union Parishad Chairman Shaheen Alom were present as the special guest. At that time, personalities from print and electronic media were also present.
