Workshop for DU teachers aims to ensure quality education

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at the University of Dhaka hosted a vital workshop aimed at enriching the skills of its faculty members. The workshop, titled "Orientation Lecture for Young Faculty," took place at the Conference Room of IQAC-DU on April 22, 2024.

Presided over by Professor Dr. Sabita Rezwana Rahman, Director of IQAC-DU, the workshop commenced with a warm welcome speech. Professor Dr. A.T.M. Shamsuzzoha, Additional Director of ETL at IQAC-DU, skillfully anchored the event, ensuring its smooth flow.

During the session, esteemed speakers shared their insights on crucial topics. Associate Professor Quazi Mahfujul Hoque Supan shed light on "DU Order and Statute," while Professor Dr. Syed Shahrier Rahman delved into the "Role of a Lecturer & Ethical Principles of University Teachers." Furthermore, Professor Md. Fazlur Rahman elucidated "Blooms Taxonomy of Learning," providing valuable perspectives on educational methodologies.

The workshop highlighted the commitment of IQAC-DU to fostering excellence in higher education. Throughout the year, IQAC-DU consistently organizes a series of workshops and special talks, catering to the needs of both faculty members and officers. These initiatives are geared towards achieving the highest standards of quality education at the University of Dhaka.
