Construction work of ‘Maulana Amjad Hossain Memorial Education and Service Complex’ has been inaugurated with the funding of RRP Feed Mill located at Arkandi of at Ishwardi upazila in Pabna. The construction work was officially inaugurated in the ghost car area of Ishwardi municipality in Pabna after the Jumma prayers on Friday (October 30).
Nuruzzaman Biswas, MP of Pabna-4 (Ishwardi-Atgharia) constituency and vice-president of Pabna district Awami League, inaugurated the event.
Managing Director (MD) of RRP Feed Mill Md Munsur Alam, Mayor of Ishwardi Municipality and President of Municipal Awami League Abul Kalam Azad Mintu, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ishwardi Police Station Sheikh Nasir Uddin, General Secretary of Municipal Awami League Ishaq Ali Malitha, Ishwardi were present on the occasion. Former president of the press club Mostaq Ahmed Kiran, prominent businessman Mizanur Rahman Runu Mandal, Krishak League leader Murad Ali Malitha and others.
According to RRP Mill sources, the company is being built on one bigha of land with the funding of RRP Feed Mill. Apart from religious education, charitable clinics, orphanages, technical education for students and accommodation for the elderly in the society will be kept in this institution.
