Woman killed, four injured in Dhamrai road crash

A woman was killed and four others were injured in a road crash in Dhamrai, outside of the capital on Monday morning. However, Police seized the bus and the driver soon after the incident.

The deceased was identified as Johura Begum, 32, wife of Edris Ali, hailed from Mohisashi Bazar village in Baliya Union of Dhamrai.
Witnesses said, the incident took place around 11:00am on Saturia-Kalampur regional road at Mohisashi Bazar area of Dhamrai. 

A speedy bus hit an auto rickshaw on the regional road at Mohisashi bazar area when the woman along with her family members were returning home by auto-rickshaw and leave the woman dead and four other injured.

Md. Abu Sayed, Sub-inspector of Dhamrai Police Station said, “On information, we rushed to the spot and recovered the body and rescued the injured.” We held the driver named Kayum, 33, who involved with the incident. Also the bus was seized. Further legal action will be taken, he added.
