Police recovered a body of a woman in Kushtia's Bheramara on Wednesday morning.
The identity of the woman could not be known immediately.
Locals informed the police after seeing the body of the unidentified woman in the Chandipur GK canal area of Chandgram union under the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge of Bheramara Police Station Shahjalal confirming the matter said, “On information police rushed to the spot and recovered the body. Then the body was sent to the Kushtia 250-bed General Hospital for autopsy.”
However, the police official also said that several teams of the police department are working in the field to unveil the murder mystery and arrest the culprits.
