A woman was crushed under the wheels of a running train at Jashore Railway Station on on Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as Rejia Bagum, 60, wife of Tofajjal Hossain, a resident of Navarin Bazar in Sharsa Upazila of Jashore district.
Stationmaster of Jashore Railway Station Saidul Islam said the victim got down from a Dhaka bound train.
Rejia suddenly fell down under the train and train run over on the two legs. She was severely injured and head injury. Immediately she was taken to Jashore General Hospital while the duty doctor declared her dead.
