With the initiative of Nabinagar Upazila Education Family, a winter Pitha Utsab was held at the Upazila Auditorium at Nabinagar in Brahmanbaria on Saturday.
Upazila academic supervisor Eti Begum presided over the programme while UNO Ekramul Siddique was present as the chief guest.
At that time, Mrs Tania Siddique, Freedom fighter Rtd teacher Abu Bakkar Siddique, Assistant commissioner(land) Iqbal Hasan, Upazila Primary assistant education officer Mohammad Alamgir Hossain Molla, Abdul Kaiyum, General Secretary of Nabinagar Press Club Asadujjaman Kollol, President of Primary Education Samity ATM Rezaul Karim Sabuj along with others were also present.
Nine stalls participated in the festival. Nabinagar Mohila Degree College achieved the first prize of the Pitha Utsab.
