Brahmanbaria Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Md. Raich Uddin distributed more than 400 winter cloths among cold-hit people at Brahmanbaria Press Club auditorium on Sunday.
The distribution was organized at the initiative of Majid-Nahar Foundation, a local humanitarian organisation
Vice-president of the organization HM Jakaria presided over the programme while, General Secretary
of Sadar Upazila Awami League MAH Mahbub Alam, President of Brahmanbaria Press Club Riazuddin Jami, General Secretary Jabed Rahim Bijan and others were present as special guests.
Speakers at the time said that like every year, Majid-Nahar Foundation has stood by the people suffering from cold. This organization distributed not only winter clothes but also earning equipment including sewing machines among the needy at different times to create employment.
