Winners in 4 Cox’s Bazar constituencies

District Returning Officer and District Commissioner at 12 noon on Monday Muhammad Shaheen Imran announced the unoddicial results of four constituencies in Cox's Bazar.

Cox's Bazar-01 Constituency (Chakaria-Pekua)

In this constituency, which consists of Chakaria and Pekua upazilas, Bangladesh Welfare Party's wristwatch marker Syed Mohammad Ibrahim got 81,955 votes and his nearest rival, Awami League's sitting member of parliament and truck symbol independent candidate Zafar Alam, got 52,896 votes.Apart from this, among the other candidates, Abu Mohammad Bashirul Alam of Bangladesh Works Party hammer symbol 537 votes, Jatiya Party Plow symbol Hosne Ara 773 votes, Bangladesh Islamic Front candle symbol Muhammad Belal Uddin 691 votes, Eagle symbol independent candidate Tanveer Ahmed Siddiqui Tuhin 244 votes and Kalachardi symbol independent. Candidate 180 votes.

Polling has been suspended in 3 centers of this constituency.

Cox's Bazar-02 Constituency (Maheshkhali-Kukubdia)

In this constituency comprising of Maheshkhali and Kutubdia upazilas, Awami League's current member of parliament Ashek Ullah Rafiq got 97,609 votes in boat symbol and his nearest rival Bangladesh Nationalist Movement (BNM) anchor symbol candidate Sharif Badsha got 35,613 votes.

Apart from this, National People's Party (NPP)'s mango symbol candidate Mahabubul Alam got 148 votes, Bangladesh Supreme Party's (BSP) single star symbol candidate Mohammad Khairul Amin 160 votes, Islamic Front Bangladesh's chair symbol candidate Mohammad Ziaur Rahman 224 votes and Islami Oikyazot's Minar symbol candidate. Yunus 276 votes.

Cox's Bazar-03 constituencies (Sadar, Ramu and Eidgaon)

In this seat with Cox's Bazar Sadar, Ramu and Eidgaon upazilas, Awami League's current Member of Parliament candidate Saimum Sarwar Kamal got 1,67,039 votes and his nearest rival Barrister Mizan Saeed, an independent candidate of Awami Lawyers Parishad leader Eagle symbol, got 21,946 votes.

Apart from this, Bangladesh Welfare Party's watch symbol candidate Abdul Awal Mamun got 988 votes, Bangladesh Nationalist Front's (BNF) television symbol candidate Mohammad Ibrahim 268 votes, Jatiya Party's plow symbol candidate Mohammad Tarek 1,371 votes, Bangladesh National Awami Party's (NAP) hut symbol candidate Shamim. Ahsan (Bhuloo) 505 votes.

Cox's Bazar-04 Constituency (Ukhia-Teknaf)

In this seat with Ukhia and Teknaf upazilas, Awami League's current MP candidate Shaheen Akhter got 1,22,080 votes and his nearest rival Nurul Bashar, an independent candidate of eagle symbol, got 31,707 votes.

Apart from this, Nurul Amin Sikder Bhutto of Jatiya Party's plow symbol got 1,758 votes, Farid Alam of Mango symbol of National People's Party (NPP) got 327 votes, Mujibul Haque Mujib of Trinamool BNP's Sonali Ansh symbol got 246 votes, Mohammad Osman Gani Chowdhury of Islami Oikyajot (IOJ) Minar symbol. 825 votes and the name of Bangladesh Congress. Ismail 247 votes.
