DPS STS Chef Minister 2024 has been wrapped up with a Gala event. Ishrat Jabin snatched away the title of the Champion Mother.
She also received professional certificate and the grand prize money of BDT 1 lakh.
DPS STS Chef Minister has been designed in such a way that any mother can exhibit their culinary skills by taking part in it.
The unique celebration of culinary passion for mothers began last month with a special workshop at the DPS STS Senior School Cafeteria. This opportunity to showcase their cooking style is a huge hit among cooking moms.
The grand gala of the competition, sponsored by MAGGI, was held on Saturday at the DPS STS Senior Campus Swimming Pool Area (Level 7).
Around 500 mothers from all over Bangladesh came together to make the competition a successful one. This is the 2nd arrangement of the DPS STS Chef Minister competition.
Sheikh Rashid, Executive Chef of Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden; Jesus Nino, Chef, Le Meridien Dhaka; Faria Islam, Manager - Consumer Engagement Service, Nestlé Bangladesh PLC; Tasnia Rahman Shrishti, host, culinary artist of RTV programme 'Best Ranna Shad', and the owner of “Shrishti's Food Creation” catering; Jaheda Begum, Head of Food and Beverage Production - National Hotel and Tourism Training Institute, and Manager (5th Grade) – Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism; Simra Khan, Fitness and Nutrition Coach; had to accomplish the challenging task of finding out the best recipe among many mouthwatering dishes.
It was a memorable event for the participants, as they engaged in conversations and exchanged cooking tips with each other.
