Noakhali Science and Technology University Journalists Association (NSTUJA) organized a webinar titled as "Bangabandhu and Mass Media" marking National Mourning Day and the 45th death anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and this webinar was held on Monday (August 31) at 9 pm on Zoom Platform.
This webinar was presided over by Abdur Rahim (President of NSTUJA) where the chief guest was NSTU VC Prof Dr Didar Ul Alam and the special guest was Prof Dr Newaz Mohammed Bahadur (President of NSTU Teachers Association). During the webinar, members of NSTU Journalists Association were present.
In his speech as special guest, Prof. Dr. Newaz Mohammed Bahadur told about Bangabandhu’s contribution to the protection of journalists and special rights of journalists even after independence of Bangladesh
In the speech as the chief guest, VC Prof Dr Md. Didar-ul-Alam mentioned Bangabandhu’s sincere vision and cooperation towards the media and journalists. He also briefly highlighted the activities of some special journalists who came forward with Bangabandhu in the Liberation War of 1971.
