The web-portal of Weekly Khulna Darpan was launched through a function held at Khulna Press Club on Sunday.
Chairman of Khulna Zila Parishad Sheikh Harunur Rashid inaugurated the web-portal as the chief guest.
Editor and publisher of Weekly Khulna Darpan Mina Asikur Rahman presided over the function, while it was addressed, among others, by president of Khulna Press Club SM Nazrul Islam, former president of the club Mokbul Hossain Mintu, Sarder Mahbubar Rahman and Md Alamgir Kabir.
Chief guest Sheikh Harunur Rashid along with other guests cut a cake at the function.
In his speech, he said the weekly will play a vital role in media.
