Ryan Reynolds jokingly reveals that millions of Netflix's dollars were wasted on the set of his film Red Notice. Starring Reynolds, Gal Gadot, and Dwayne Johnson, ‘Red Notice’ follows an Interpol agent (Johnson) as he attempts to track down and capture the world's most notorious art thief (Gadot) with the help of the world's second most notorious art thief (Reynolds). With a reported budget of $200 million, the film is the most expensive Netflix original to date, surpassing ‘The Irishman’ ($159 million) and ‘6 Underground’ ($150 million).

Critical reviews for Red Notice are mixed at best thus far, but general audiences will get to see the film when it releases on the streaming platform on November 12. The film is in the midst of an extremely limited theatrical run and has generated just shy of $1 million so far. Initial trailers suggest Red Notice will provide audiences with the humor typical of most Reynolds films, with plenty of jokes and physical comedy bits between the film's three stars.

In a recent episode of ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ (via The Independent) Gadot, Reynolds, and Johnson recalled just how much fun the three of them had on set and how many expensive takes were ruined because one of them was laughing. "We broke so many takes," Gadot explained, "[Ryan] waits around the corner waiting to break us." Reynolds then chimed in, joking: "We wasted millions of Netflix’s dollars on laughing and just goofing around on set."
