Bangladesh spin-bowling coach Rangana Herath was impressed with the team's performance and said the Tigers are showing their brand of cricket.
Bangladesh won the first ODI against Ireland with a huge margin of 184 runs at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium after registering their highest total of 338 runs in the one-day format.
"I think it's a fantastic effort by all-team members. Especially Towhid and Shakib, and then Mushfiq and also Yasir. Their aggressive approach was fantastic. We are showing a brand of our cricket at the moment. Hopefully, we will do the same thing tomorrow as well," said Herath who was celebrating his birthday on Sunday.
Herath stated Bangladesh team are now in their prime time with the in form pacers, spinners and batters. Ebadot Hossain bagged four wickets and Taskin Ahmed took two to help bowl out Ireland within 31 overs in the first ODI.
"We are all inspired by pacers. We have a good fast bowling attack now. Overall, we have good batting and fast bowling and spin. It is good for Bangladesh cricket," he said.
Herath said that Mehidy Hasan Miraz is still under inspection who was ruled out of the first match due to an injury which he suffered during practice.
"He will be monitored today as well. He will consult with the doctors, so once we know, we will let you know," he added.
