A delegation of World Bank visited various projects funded by Local Governance Support Project-3 (LGSP-3) at Dhamshona union in Ashulia of Savar on Saturday.
Shenhua Wang, Senior Urban Development Specialist of World Bank, led the delegation.
A discussion meeting was held after inspecting work of various projects at the office of Swanirvar Dhamshona Union Parishad. Saiful Islam, Chairman of Dhamshona Union Parishad, and members of the Union Parishad attended the meeting.
After visiting the LGSP-3’s project work, Shenhua Wang expressed her satisfaction and assured to increase funding in future for development projects in Swnirvar Dhamshona Union Parishad.
Earlier, public representatives urged the delegation to increase the financing for the development of the area, citing various problems of the area.
