Mayor of Washington DC Muriel Bowser has extended her heartfelt greetings to the people of Bangladesh on the occasion of the country's 52nd Independence and National Day to be celebrated on March 26.
"In recognition of your National Day on March 26, 2022, I would like to wish you a Happy Independence Day," the Mayor said.
The Washington DC Mayor conveyed the greetings through a message sent to Bangladesh Ambassador to the United States M Shahidul Islam, according to a message received from the Embassy.
On behalf of the residents of Washington, DC, Muriel Bowser also wished the people of Bangladesh continuous peace, progress and prosperity.
