On the occasion of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth centenary more than 10 thousand blankets were distributed among cold hit people at Rukindipur area under Akkelpur upazila of Joypurhat on Tuesday. Rukindipur UP Chairman Ahsan Kabir Aplob personally financed the blanket distribution event.
Among others Akkelpur UZ Chairman Abdus Salam Akand, Vice Chairman Ziaul Haq Zia, Upazila Awami League’s Joint General Secretary Mujibur Rahman, General Secretary of Upazila Swechchhasebak League, Nure Alam spoke at the event.
