Naser Sharhrier Zahedi Mahul, Jhenaidah-2 seat lawmaker and founder of renowned voluntary organization Zahedi Foundation had said he will make Jhenaidah district terrorism, drug and toll-free with the cooperation of the people of all walks of life to make the district a livable one within a short time. It will make lead the lives meaningful as desired by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Mahul said it in his concise speech at Jhenaidah municipality premises when he was distributing 5,000 pieces of warm clothing blankets among the cold hit people on Saturday noon.
The newly elected lawmaker said he and the members of Zahedi Foundation have been standing by the destitute people for decades together where thousands of poor and needy families have been benefited continuously. The people receiving upon the blankest had expressed their satisfaction and prayed for this sort of human activities by the Zahedi Family.
Jhenaidah municipality mayor Qayum Shahrier Zahedi Hizawl, Porahati union parishad chairman, also Awami League Jhenaidah sadar upazila unit general secretary Shahidul Islam Hiorn, Bus-minibus owners association ex-president Mohammad Ali Kanu, transport workers leader Akkas Ali, social worker Israil Hossain Shanti and Zahedi Foundation convener Tabibur Rahman Labu among others present.
IshwardI (Pabna) Correspondent adds: Blazers were given among the madrasa students in Ishwardi Upazila.
The blazers were distributed among the two madaras including 25 orphans students of madaras in different areas on Saturday. The programme was organised by famous brand of Dhaka ‘Fit Elegant’. The students are ‘ 2007 and 2009 SSC batch mardasa students.
