Abu Kalam Siddique, Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP), inaugurated the 'Wall of Humanity' near the gate of Shah Makhdum Police station on Tuesday (January 19) morning.
Shah Makhdum police station authorities also distributed blankets among the distressed people of the area.
Abu Kalam Siddique, Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police distributed the blankets as the chief guest. After the distribution of the blankets, RMP Commissioner also inaugurated the ' Wall of Humanity', a space on the wall near the gate of the police station where things donated by the well-off people and police members are kept hanging so that those can be collected by the needy people.
The function was attended, among others, by Additional Commissioner (admin.) of police Sujayet Islam, Additional Commissioner of police (Crime and Operation) Salma Begum, PPM, Deputy Commissioner (sadar) Rashidul Hasan, PPM, Deputy Commissioner ( Shah Makhdum) Muhammd Saiful Islam, Assistant Police Commissioner (Shah Makhdum) Sonia Parvin and Officer-in-charge Saiful Islam Sarker.
